Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 2026-10-14 · Last updated 2026-09-13
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service. It protects our customers, their customers, and the platform. Violations may result in throttling, feature suspension, account suspension or termination, and, where required, reports to payment partners or law enforcement.
1. Prohibited Activities
- Violating any law, regulation, or third-party right, including consumer-protection, privacy, tax, employment, and anti-money-laundering laws.
- Fraud, deception, or misrepresentation — including fake invoices, fictitious businesses, identity misuse, or misleading customers about what they are paying for.
- Selling or accepting payment for goods or services on Stripe's Restricted Businesses list or otherwise prohibited by card-network rules.
- Infringing copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets, or publishing defamatory, obscene, hateful, or harassing content on portals, storefronts, or documents.
- Uploading malware, attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account or system, probing or scanning our infrastructure, or interfering with the Service's operation.
- Circumventing plan limits, security controls, metering, or rate limits, including by creating multiple free-trial accounts for the same business.
- Scraping, bulk-exporting, or reselling data that belongs to other users, or reselling the Service without a written partnership agreement.
- Using AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content, or to attempt to extract other customers' data.
2. Email, SMS, and Messaging
- Send only to recipients who have a business relationship with you or have consented. No purchased lists, no unsolicited bulk email or SMS.
- Comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CASL, GDPR/PECR and similar laws: accurate sender identity, no misleading subject lines, working unsubscribe honored within 10 days, and your postal address in marketing email.
- Bounce and complaint rates that materially exceed industry norms (approximately 2% bounces, 0.1% complaints) may lead to sending limits or suspension of email features.
- Do not use connected Gmail accounts to send bulk or marketing mail in violation of Google's policies.
3. Payments
- Describe accurately what you sell, deliver it, and honor your posted refund policy.
- Keep your Stripe verification (KYC) information current and respond to Stripe requirements promptly.
- Do not process payments for another business, split transactions to evade limits, or use payment links to move money between your own accounts.
- Dispute (chargeback) rates approaching card-network thresholds (0.75% or higher) will trigger review and may result in payment acceptance being paused until the cause is addressed.
4. Fair Use of Resources
Plan limits (AI queries, emails, automation runs, storage, records, seats) are published in your plan. Automated or scripted use that consumes resources far beyond normal business use for your plan tier may be throttled. We will contact you before suspending for resource abuse except in cases of active attack.
5. Reporting
Report abuse, phishing sites hosted on our platform, or security issues to security@fratelli-app.com. We investigate all reports and act on confirmed violations.
